Coach Paco Crandall

Paco has coached college softball for the past 11 years where in 2015 he received the NFCA National coaching staff of year award as the hitting coach at Community Colleges of Spokane.  He played college baseball at Walla Walla C.C. and then transferred to Whitworth University where he helps coach the softball team today.

In addition to experience at the college level, Paco has worked with elite players, coaches and facilities across the country including Rijo Athletics AZ,  Hitter’s Paradise HI,  the Hitting Vault and the Idaho Athlete Project. 

Paco was a founder of the Spokane Diamonds Fastpitch program in 2011 and consulted with the founders of Elite Diamonds Fastpitch in Woodinville, WA.  He is passionate about softball in our community.  As head coach of Community Colleges of Spokane he worked with the NWAC conference and Spokane Sports Commision to Bring the NWAC Softball Championship to Spokane’s Dwight Merkel Sports Complex.

When Paco isn’t learning and coaching softball he spends time with his wife Michelle and his family at their cottage in Haiku, HI.  


Hitting Coach


Jeff Williamson

$75/hr + $20/each extra student

Jeff is the former owner of The Hitting Zone Spokane. For the past 31 years, Jeff has worked as a Private
Hitting Instructor, Private Fielding Instructor, Camp Clinician and Camp Director at HZS and other
Baseball/Softball outfits in the Northwest.

Jeff has worked with thousands of Players/Hitters during this time from all over the Northwest and into Canada.

Jeff has coached four different High School programs as a Varsity Hitting Coach for ten years coupled with five elite club baseball programs in
Washington/Oregon as a Head Coach. Four of these five club programs were recognized nationally.

Jeff has learned alongside some of the best in the game both as a player and a Coach. Jeff was the
Greater Spokane League MVP in 1990 (MEAD) earning him a baseball scholarship at Spokane Falls
Community College (1990-1992). A two-year All NWAAC Player at the Falls and earning his AA degree,
Jeff earned another baseball scholarship at Washington State University under legendary Coach Bobo
Brayton (1993-1994).

Jeff played all three outfield positions at WAZZU earning his degree in Teaching
and is currently a Special Education Teacher in Spokane Public Schools for the past two decades.
Jeff has a passion for kids! He enjoys working with players of all ages/skill sets and guarantees student
learning or your money back!

During Jeff’s private lessons, you can expect a lot of energy and hands on
teaching. Jeff believes in the “whole athlete” understanding that not all swings look the same. Jeff is a
huge mental game coach with his 4-step focus formula, 6-step hitting approach and video analysis will
only be the beginning of the experience! When Jeff isn’t coaching or teaching, he enjoys being outdoors
on his boat or in the hills hiking and ATV riding.
